“Do less and obsess.”
It’s a phrase that’s really stuck with me; simple, but transformative. As I look back on 2024/25, I realise I had fallen into the trap so many leaders do: trying to do too much. And in the process, losing clarity, energy, and focus.
As an EOS Implementer, my purpose is to help business owners and leadership teams get what they want from their businesses. But when I stretch myself across too many priorities, I risk being less effective in that mission.
This isn’t unique to me. It’s something I see in many businesses. We get caught in the momentum of more. More meetings. More goals. More distractions. But often achieve less.
EOS brings structure, clarity and discipline. And the idea of doing less and obsessing fits beautifully within that framework. It’s not about working less or caring less. It’s about narrowing your focus and going all in on what truly matters, like your Rocks, your vision and your Scorecard.
When you obsess over fewer, high-impact priorities, performance lifts. Teams align. Results follow.
So as we head into 2025, this is the mindset I’m taking with me:
Simplify. Focus. Eliminate distractions. And execute with obsession.
Because success isn’t about doing everything. It’s about doing the right things, exceptionally well.
Do less and obsess.
